He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Samuel and Beryl Williams (Conrad); his daughter Kathy; his siblings, Morton, Shirley and Vera; and his children-in-law, Tammy and James Guthro.

He is survived by: his wife Jessie; his children, Deborah "Tiny", Sammy (Margaret), Judy (Sonny), David (Jennifer), Allan and John; and his sister Annie. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
