She was predeceased by: her husband Earl Murphy; her daughter Susan Murphy; her parents, Matilda Moore and Corey Moore; and her siblings, Hilda, Hazel, Helen, Opal, Estella, Floyd, Vernon, Giffin, Aubrey and Arnold.

She is survived by: her sons, David Murphy (Janet) of Shag Harbour, Richard Murphy (Kimberley) of Milford and New Hampshire; her grandchildren, Jeremy Murphy (Angela) of Calgary and Sara Bourque (Gabriel); and her great grandchild Violet.
