He was predeceased by: his parents, Iona Agnes Hallett and Lloyd Ernesto Bond of Canso, NS.. He is survived by: his wife Linda (Cotter); his daughter Melanie (Stephen Poole); his granddaughter Ava; and his siblings, Lloyd (Donna), Donna (Andy Jacklyn), Kevin (Melissa) and David.
Memorial donations can be made to the Foundations for Queens General Hospital in Liverpool or Roseway Hospital in Shelburne in Floyd's memory and the family thanks the staff at both Hospitals for the care he received.
