With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Jean Marie Quinlan (Shelburne, Nova Scotia), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Jean Marie left this world on February 16, 2026 at the age of 85, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Avery Shand and Mildred Shand (Hopkins) of Shag Harbour; and her siblings, George, Chester, Viola, Roland and Joyce.

She is survived by: her husband Asa Roy Quinlan; her children, Robert'Bobby'Stoddard (Lesa), Rex Stoddard (Lynn), Hank Stoddard, Georgia Stoddard (Ray) and Lori Nickerson (Todd); her grandchildren, Stefanee, Tahnee, Christopher'Lance', Brittany, Candace, Logan, Riley, Jacey and Braiden; her great grandchildren, Benjamin, Caitlyn, Nathan, Nash, Lincoln, Denver, Harrison and Dakota; her siblings, Larry Shand (Linda) and Wanda Swain (Kevin); and her siblings-in-law, Jeanette Shand and Dana Symon. She is also survived by her family especially the grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 25th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Huskilson's Memorial Chapel.
