She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Newell (Atwood) and Kenneth Newell; her husband Captain Wayne Edwin Nickerson; her son Captain Todd Wayne Nickerson; her grandson Captain Katlin Todd Nickerson; and her siblings, Kenneth Jr. Newell (Buddy) and Claudine Townsend.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Alexander (Rhiannon), Becky Lou Brannen (Dwayne), Opal Dawn Nickerson (Angus) and Melodie Jane Crowell; her grandchildren, Tiffany, Luke, Jake, Falon (James), Karmen (Jeremy), Karianne (Jeff), Tony and Brandon; her great grandchildren, Evie, Easton, Meri and Kally; and her sisters, Betsy, Leota and Pamela (George). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Woods Harbour Calvary Baptist Church.
