She was predeceased by : her parents, Calvin Doane and Marion Doane (Davis); her brothers, Lloyd Doane, Clare Doane (Lillian) and Joe Doane; her children, Meredith Dee, Lynn Joyce (Morris Joyce), Ruth Sutherland and Brian Sutherland (Lindy); her granddaughter Heather Joyce; and her great grandchild Sloane Sutherland.

She is survived by : her sons, Allison Sutherland (Betsy), Peter Sutherland (Laura), Joe Sutherland (Evelyn), Nick Sutherland (Nancy), Malcolm Sutherland (Heather), John Sutherland (Rita) and Richard Sutherland (Ellen); her son-in-law Lionel Dee; her grandchildren, Patrick Dee, Wayne Dee, Grant Dee, Kim Joyce, Sandra Sutherland, Allen Sutherland, Ryan Sutherland, Robin Smith (Sutherland), Riley Foley (Sutherland), Dwayne Sutherland, Lyle Sutherland, James Sutherland, Scott Sutherland, Candice Sutherland, Derrick Sutherland, Brodie Sutherland, Katie Sutherland and Breanne Sutherland; and her sisters-in-law, Mary Doane (McKenney) and Gert Doane Stoddard. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
