She was predeceased by : her parents, Aretta Thompson (Belong) and Sydney Thompson; and her siblings, Stella, Burns, Hilda, Hazel, Jermone, Anne and Phyllis.
She is survived by : her husband Edward Day Hemeon (Ted); her children, Deborah Nickerson (Rodney), Vonda Thompson (Gary) and Edward "Teddy" (Karis); and her siblings, Helen Smith (Edwin) of Halifax and Williams "Bill" Thompson (Sandra). She is also survived by her family and friends.
