She was predeceased by: her parents, Ameila Perry and Fred Perry. She is survived by: her husband Mark Van Buskirk; her children, Shannon (Chris), Elizabeth (Devon) and Adam (Maggie); her grandchildren, Angelina, Brex, Jacob, William, Ethan, Hazel and Agatha; her siblings, Maureen, LeRoy Perry (Maria), Jimmy Perry (Robin), Paul Perry (Laura), Theresa Kluz, Mary Anne Campbell, Joan Locke (Robbie) and Fred Perry (Wanda); and her extended family, Alaa Almanjar (Amani), Ameen Alali (Marwa) and Eyad Almnajer (Samahr).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Huskilsons Chapel (58 Bulkley St, Shelburne, NS B0T1W0). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the St Thomas Catholic Church (50 Bulkley St, Shelburne, NS B0T1W0).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Shelburne Refugee Support Committee OR becoming a member of the 100 People Who Care of Shelburne County; a local cause that Patsy was very proud to be a member of and attended.
