He was predeceased by: his parents, William G. Rech and Helen Thompson Rech; his siblings, Helen Coleman, William Rech and Kenneth; and also Myrna (Bower).
He is survived by: his children, Timothy (Bron) and Cheryl Lynn; his grandchildren, Candice, Amber and Caitlyn; his daughter-in-law Donna Rech; his sister Diane Nakonechny; his sister-in-law Cheryl Bower; and his wife Myrna. He is also survived by four great grandchildren.
