It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronald Douglas Balkam of Shelburne, Nova Scotia, born in Lower Woods Harbour, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 26, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Percy Balkam and Doris Balkam; and his sisters, Barbara, Mabel, Sarah, Shirley and Betty Lou.

He is survived by : his nieces, Christina (Wally), Kimberly, Barbie and Tiffany; and his brothers, Victor, Bradford, Donald and Edward. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
