Roy Leon Hicks Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on December 19, 2025, at the age of 89, Roy Leon Hicks in Shelburne, Nova Scotia, born in Sackville, New Brunswick passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Roy may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Roy touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth; his daughters, Elizabeth and Heather; and his brother Ed. He is survived by: his daughters, Shirley (Mark) and Barbara (Dave). He is also survived by two nieces and two great-nephews.
