It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonia Rosaleen Sears of Shelburne, Nova Scotia, born in Clarks Harbour, Nova Scotia, who passed away on August 2, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Smith Nickerson and Edith Nickerson; her husband Donnie; her son Gil; her siblings, Eugene, Louis and Irene; and her close friend Cyril.

She is survived by : her daughter Wendy (Tony); her grandchildren, Crissy (Robert), Donnie (Lindsey), Brandon (Jacklyn) and Lauren (Thomas); her great grandchildren, Ryan, Adam, Jacob, Gil, Leah, Harper and Harlow; and her daughter-in-law Aimee.
