He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Thompson and Marion Thompson. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Ben (Toronto), Billie Jo (Katie), Tanya and Crystal; his grandchildren, Vaughn of Manitoba, Sydney of Manitoba and Sevan of Manitoba; his siblings, Gary (Bettina), Eric (Ken), Patsy, Cathy (Bob), Linda (Jamie) and Joan (Ralph); and his brother-in-law Gary. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
