Wordlow Vincent Nickerson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 27, 2025, at the age of 83, Wordlow Vincent Nickerson (Shelburne, Nova Scotia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Ann Nickerson (Goreham); his parents, Vincent Nickerson and Evelyn Nickerson (Rhyno); and his siblings, Oliver Nickerson, Warren Nickerson, Faye Burke and Sharon Crowell.
He is survived by: his children, Tony Nickerson (Christanna), Angie d'Entremont (Dana) and Kelly Matthews (Glenn); his grandchildren, Chanelle Nickerson, Jerica Benoit (Keidon), Faith Nickerson, Kassidy Matthews (Andrew), Mackenzie Maillet (Kirby), Maddox d'Entremont and Lexx d'Entremont; and his great grandchildren, Braxton, Willow Nickerson and Ayla Atwood.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the H. M. Huskilsons Funeral Home (2821 Nova Scotia Trunk 3, Barrington, NS B0W1E0). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Calvary United Baptist Church (Rt 3 Nova Scotia Trunk 3, Lower Woods Harbour, NS B0W2E0).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to a local sport fund for young athletes.
