He is survived by : his wife Donna; his children, Jennifer (John), Chris (Karry-Ann) and Dave (Danielle); his grandchildren, Jamie, Grace, Ross, Danika (Bradley), Zack, Tristan, Ella, Noah, Jasmine, Carlene, Jackson, Abby and Gregory; his great grandchildren, Abel and Charlie; his brother Ronnie (Jeanne); his niece Kathy; his nephew Steven (Catherine); his sister-in-law Sue Bourne; his nephews, Sam and Charlie; and his cousin Lorne Jamieson (Wanda).

Donations in Fred's memory can be made to Guysborough Memorial Hospital.
