George Harpell Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Harpell (Sherbrooke, Nova Scotia), born in Fishermans Harbour, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 7, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Asa Harpell and Rhoda Harpell (Horton); his daughter Verlene Whidden; his daughter-in-law Cheryl McLeod; and his brothers, Stanley, Clayton, Harold and Hector.
He is survived by : his wife Lottie (Hubley); his children, Cheryl Rideout (Darrell), Brian (Beverly), Blaine and Dwayne (Heather); his siblings, Jerry (Janice), Junior (Sandra), Charlie (Elizabeth), Isaac (Sherry), John (Louise), Hilda Sherman, Florence Baker, Carol Whitmore, Sandra Archibald (Leonard), Wanetta Evans (Roger), Marjorie Yake (Grant), Barbara Croft (David), Judy MacDonald (Gordie) and Cindy MacGrath (Lloyd); his son-in-law Keith Whidden; and his sister-in-law Mickey Harpell. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions, a visitation and funeral service will take place at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul's Anglican Church, Port Bickerton.
