He was predeceased by : his parents, Tobias Kavanagh and Josephine Kavanagh (Chisholm); his brothers, Donald and Leo; and his grandson John Martin.
He is survived by : his wife Betty Kavanagh (Hart); his children, Allan (Sue), Joe (Marites), Wade (Chrissie), Blaise (Kim) and Shelly (Brian); his grandchildren, Zachary, Rebecca, Alexandria, Samantha, Elizabeth, Matthew, Darrian and Kassie; his siblings, Cecil and Edna; and his sister-in-law Jessie. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Ralph's memory may be made to Guysborough Memorial Hospital Auxiliary or to St. Francis of Assisi Parish Cemetery Fund.
