It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ben Vermeulen of Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia, who passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Andreas Vermeulen and Leonarda Vermeulen (Sanders); his wife Anna; and his siblings, Elizabeth and Martin.

He is survived by : his sister Maria; and his children, Andy (Karen), Gerald (Debbie), Leona (Gerrit), Adrian (Melanie), Joanna, Verna (Michael) and Wilma. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 31 great grandchildren.
