He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Chappy" Francis and Mary "Agatha" Francis; his wife Gloria; his children, Brian and Ashely; and his siblings, Charles, Stephen and Carol Ann.
He is survived by: his daughters, Marlene Francis and Nora Simon; his grandchildren, Andrew (Jenna) and Chianne Marshall; his great grandchildren, Tomas, Payton, Paul, Theo and Maria; his siblings, Gloria Googoo, Blanche Francis, Tom Francis (Sherry Paul), Shirley Francis and Simon Francis; and his godchildren, Joanne Googoo (G. I.), Charles Francis and Dallas Peter-Paul. He is also survived by many nieces, and nephews.
A wake will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the Family Home (25 Dowie Rd, Indian Brook 14, NS B0N2H0). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Arbor.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Indian Brook/Sipekne'katik Fire Department.
