He was predeceased by: his parents, Gary McCorkill and Marjorie McCorkill (Boutilier); his wife Jean; his siblings, Kevin, Neil and Wendy; and his brother-in-law Frank Ross.
He is survived by: his daughters, Annette (David Pittman) and Tami (Keith MacDonald); his grandchildren, Connor Pittman and Dezirae Pittman; his great grandchildren, Anise and Weston; his pets, Snowball and Thunder; his close friend Marjorie Willcott; his sisters, Sheila Ross and Linda Killen (Fulton); and his sister-in-law Sandra Mallard. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, May 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Hardwoodlands Cemetery (8178 Nova Scotia Trunk 14, Hardwood Lands, NS B0N2H0).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the SPCA.
