With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Claire Elizabeth MacGregor (Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 11, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Horne and Emma Horne (MacDonnell); and her former husband Peter Boyd. She is survived by: her husband Clive MacGregor; her children, Carolyn Boyd, Leslie Putnam, Margo Boyd, Landon Boyd and Denise Hong; her grandchildren, Sydney, Madeleine, Ava Putnam, Colette and Stephanie Boyd; her siblings, Frank Horne (Anne), Ralph Horne (Jenny Gonzalez) and Ruth Logan (Jack); Jennifer and Daniel.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Alzheimer's Society of Nova Scotia or Saint Vincent's Nursing Home Foundation.
