He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander McDonald and Mary Ellen McDonald (Paul); and his siblings, Shirley Julien, Colleen Knockwood, Alexander "Sandy" McDonald, Jack McDonald, William "Duncan" McDonald, Walter McDonald, Colin McDonald and Roy McDonald.
He is survived by: his children, Denise (Roddie), Dawn, Colin (Pamela) and Clarence "Jason" (Heather); and his siblings, Lena Politano (Joseph), Mark McDonald and Indian Brook. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 10th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Sunday, May 11th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ettinger Funeral Home Chapel (2812 NS-2, Shubenacadie, NS B0N2H0). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the St. Kateri Roman Catholic Church (509 Church St, Micmac, NS B0N1W0).
