He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Nelson (Peach); his brothers, Archie, Terry and Gordie; and his son Vincent.
He is survived by: his siblings, Willena and Stephen Nelson (Carolyn); his sons, Richard, Terrance and Christopher Nelson; and his granddaughters, Jennifer (Jacob Weatherby), Heather Nelson and Jessica Nelson. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
