It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gordon Douglas Dixon of Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 26, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ada Dixon (Clark) and Oliver Dixon; and his brothers, Lester, Wayne, Earl and Melvin.

He is survived by: his wife Joan (Grant); his children, Don (Claudette), Bill (Yvonne) and Cathy (Manny); his grandchildren, Anna, Caitlyn, Greg, Grant, Chelsey, Graham and Cody; and his brother Clinton Dixon (Audrey). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Shubenacadie United Church, the Kidney Foundation or a charity of choice.
