He was predeceased by: his father Jack Folkertsma; and his grandfathers, Wayne Hatt and Jake Folkertsma. He is survived by: his mother Marilyn (Martin Kavanaugh); his children, Sierrah Ann and Bentley Jack; his significant other Bailey Ashley; his sisters, Taylor (Dylan MacIsaac) and Kylie (Colin Wood); his grandmothers, Ruth Hatt and Wilhelmina Folkertsma; his stepmother Rorie Folkertsma; and his stepsister Mya Smith-Digout. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
A celebration of life was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Ettinger Funeral Home (2812 NS-2, Shubenacadie, NS B0N2H0).
