Jean MacQueen Obituary

We are sad to announce that, on February 10, 2026, Jean MacQueen of Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean MacQueen to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bertha Etter (Jardine) and Bertram Etter of Shubenacadie. She is survived by: her siblings, James Etter (Wilhelmina) and Anne Etter Lakeside (Lewis King); her nieces and nephews, Carolyne (Etter), Ferguson (Kyle), Jamison Etter (Jenny), Melanie King and Gregg King (Julie); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jack, Isla Ferguson, Evelyn, Anna and Claire King.

She belonged to a number of quilting groups over the years and in retirement we are thankful for the St. David's group in Bible Hill whose friendship and kindness enabled her to continue her passion until the Covid shutdown.
