She is survived by: her husband John "Johnny" MacLeod; her siblings, Deborah Stephens, Patricia Stephens, Denice Stephens, Bryon Stephens, Derrick Stephens, Kelly Stephens and Debbie Comporiale; and her godchildren, Jeremy Stephens, Joey Stephens, Shane Howe, Vanessa Howe and Nicholas MacLeod. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM and on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Cultural Cabins. A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the St. Kateri's Church (509 Church St, Micmac, NS B0N1W0).
