She was predeceased by: her parents, Eva Barbrick (Nelson) and Dempster Barbrick; her husband Ralph E. Spares; her daughters, Kathy and Eva; and her brothers, Nelson, George, Bruce and Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Ann (Jim), Eileen (Bruce) and Gordie; her grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Chance, Dane, Jennifer and Michelle; Jack. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the St. James Anglican Church (2856 NS-2, Shubenacadie, NS B0N2H0). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made in Lois's name to Canadian Lung Association or St. James Anglican Church, Shubenacadie.
