It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maeve Kennedy of Shubenacadie, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 18, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Alfred Garden and Florence Garden (Horne); her husband Joe; her siblings, Bud, Jack Garden, Elsie Osbourne, Noreen Osborne and Beverly O'Grady; and her friend Lorraine Herrett.

She is survived by : her children, Joe Kennedy (Helen), Mike Kennedy (Edie), Pam Reid (Roy) of London, ON and Margo McDonald; her grandchildren, J. P. Kennedy (Kim), Maine, Megan Buntain (Jordan), Vermont, Mike Reid (Vanessa) of Medicine Hat, AB, Erin Higgins (Kevin) of Arva, ON, Jill Daley (Rob) of Ridgetown, ON, Heather MacDonald, Mark Kennedy and Courtney Kennedy; her great grandchildren, Bhreagh, Gemma Kennedy, Will Buntain, Keegan, Grady, Ethan, Ciara Reid, Reid, Rowan Higgins, Ryan Daley, Andy, Julia and Chase MacDonald; her sister Helen Fleming; and her sister-in-law Anna Garden. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or VON, Lunenburg.
