He was predeceased by: his former wife Kathy Cantle (Thomson); his parents, Edith "Madge" Cantle and Henry Cantle; his brother Roy Cantle; and his friend Gerald Knol.
He is survived by: his partner MJ Ripley of Wolfville, NS; his children, Sandra Babin (Jo) of Ottawa, ON, Carolyn Rau (Kevin) of Truro, NS, Ian Cantle (Michelle) of Caledonia, NS, Natalie Cantle of Sackville, NS and Michael Cantle of Truro, NS; and his grandchildren, Zachary, Olivia, Ferris, Jeffrey, Tyler, James and Wyatt. He is also survived by his family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Pete's name to the Ride For Dad Prostate Cancer Fight Foundation.
