She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Preeper and Nora Preeper (Maude); her husband Fred; her daughter Bonnie Ashley; her son-in-law Derek Roberts; her siblings, Doris, Thelma, Rita, Aubrey, Theresa Thiel (Laird), Nina Turner (George), Bill Preeper (Peggy) and Allan Preeper (Lorraine); and her brother-in-law Henry Perrott.
She is survived by: her children, Curtis, Jim (Danita), Paul (Janice), Jo-Ann Spicer (Floyd) and Glenda Roberts; her son-in-law John Ashley; and her siblings, Dorothy Perrott and Jeep Preeper (Juanita). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom she adored; many nieces and nephews.
