He is survived by: his children, Chantelle Lee (Steve), Tyler Clarke (Kara Hyland), AJ Whooten and Mitchell Whooten; his siblings, Earl Clarke (Franca Fusco), Miriam Butler and Shirley Davis Skidmore (Randy Skidmore); and his foster siblings, Richard Upham and Gerry Otterson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honour Steven's memory may consider a donation to a charity supporting veterans or people affected by addiction or homelessness.
