She was predeceased by : her parents, Dunlap Phalen and Annie Phalen (Langmead); her son Barry; her siblings, Mary, Gordie, John "Bun", Angus, Hilton and Elizabeth; and her siblings-in-law, Harold Ledwidge, Thelma Phalen and Doris Phalen.

She is survived by : her significant other Reg MacPhee; her daughter Dawn Ashley (Bobby); her daughter-in-law Sherry Baker; her son John Hiltz; her grandchildren, Ronni (Garrett), Miranda (Ryan), Victor (Taylor), Cameron (Kayla) and Connor (Taylor); her great grandchildren, Oscar and Penny; and her great-niece Willy. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
