He was predeceased by: his brother Michael Preiss; his sister-in-law Veronica Williams; his close friend Chris Moore; and his birth father Louie Lloyd. He is survived by: his wife Claudia Preiss; his children, Laura Preiss and Troy "TJ" Preiss; his parents, Shelia Preiss and Donald Preiss (Maggie); his birth mother Shelly Mestre; his in-laws, Laura and Scott Williams; his siblings, Cathy Preiss (Jason), Paul Preiss and Melissa Mestre; and his siblings' children, Gavin Preiss, Eric Preiss, Micheala Jodrey, Jasmine Williams, Cameron Colborne and Hayden Preiss. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 133 (50 Old Enfield Rd, Enfield, NS B2T1C9).
