It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Annie Jean Richardson of South Bar, Nova Scotia, born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, who passed away on May 14, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles MacDonald and Phoebe MacDonald (Tutty); her husband Howard; and her siblings, Edith Hawco, Margaret Gould, Beth MacQueen, Bertie Theriault, Mary, John "Cubbie", Stephen, Charles, Donald, David and James.
She is survived by: her children, Wendy Richardson (Doug) of Greenwood, NS and Dwight (Kathy) of Stirling, ON; her grandchildren, Gordon (Brenda), Paul (Sharlene), Kelly (Pat), Tanya (Ray), Teira (Ryan), Hope (Luke) and Samantha; and her brother Robert (Sydney). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Hospice Palliative Care Society of Cape Breton County.
