He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Usher and Margaret Usher (Young); his sons, Glen, Hazen and Shane; his brothers, Greg (Betty), Willie (Lillian) and Thomas 'Buddy'; his brother-in-law Jack Podwinski; and his sisters, Lena Usher (Joe), Polly Gardiner (Andrew) and Helen Reimherr (George).
He is survived by: his wife Faith Usher (Dickinson); his children, Marie (Ed Green), Arlene (Bob), Anna Elias, Billie (Rosalie), Melvin (Laura Lee) and Chris Shaw (Melissa); his daughter-in-law Hilda Usher; and his siblings, Karen Podwinski, Bernard (Gail) and Fred (Diane).
