He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruby and Kenneth McCleary; his stepfather Alfred Freeman; and his stepsiblings, Gary Freeman, June Brill and Betty Bohn.
He is survived by: his brother Kenneth McCleary (Wendy); his stepbrother Stan Freeman; his niece Martha McCleary (Trevor Halton); his nephew Gerry McCleary; his great-niece Hannah Halton; and his great-nephew Harry Halton.
