She was predeceased by: her parents, Obediah Arenburg and Marguerite Arenburg; her husband Marcel Medicraft; and her siblings, Daisy Veinotte and Chester Arenburg.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Medicraft (Elizabeth) of Springfield, David Medicraft of Springfield and Nancy Varner (Blair); her grandchildren, William "Bill" Medicraft (Melanie), Jay Varner (Sarah) and Woodville; her great grandchildren, Sarah Medicraft, Everly Varner, Emelia Varner and Brooks Varner; and her sisters, Florence Rhynard, Falkland Ridge and Linda Baxter (Fred). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Springfield Baptist Church (1203 Nova Scotia Trunk 10, Springfield, NS B0R1H0). A reception was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Springfield Fire Hall.
Donations in Rossie's memory may be made to the Springfield Baptist Church, Springfield Baptist Church Cemetery, Springfield Fire Department, or the New Germany and Area Medical Center.
