It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alton Sherriff of Springhill, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 20, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Sherriff and Clara Sherriff (Brown); and his siblings, Harold Jr., Elroy and Donna.

He is survived by: his wife Shirley (Lloy); his children, Jason (Patricia), Travis (Katrine) and Nicole Sherriff (Adam Adshade); his stepsons, Paul (Lila), John of Nevada, USA and Peter; his sisters, Sharon Schiefer of Springhill, Valerie Dobson (Edward) of Springhill and Etta Briand (William); his grandchildren, Brianna (Tyler) and Kyle (Cassi); and his stepgrandsons, Curtis (Angie), Brendan (Kait), Brody (Jade) and Xavier.
