It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Douglas Schiefer (Springhill, Nova Scotia), who passed away on December 5, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Douglas Schiefer to show support.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Florian and Alberta (Pepperdine); and his sister Elizabeth Carter (Doug). He is survived by : his wife Sharon (Sherrif); his children, Douglas (Jean), Daniel (Gloria) and Shelley; his grandchildren, Faith (Justin), Nathan, Bobby (Jessica), James and Dryden; and his brother Lorne. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to restrictions from Covid-19, there will be no funeral service at this time.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Doug may be made to the L.A. Animal Shelter or a charity of your choice.
