She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Smith and Edith Smith (Berry); and her siblings, Blanche Gates, Elvena Jollymore, Thelma Burbine, Edith "Donnie" Edwards, Clara White, Gladys MacEachern and Lloyd "Bubby" Smith.
She is survived by: her sister Fern Burbine (Ronald). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and close cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jones Family Funeral Centre (70 Church St, Amherst, NS B4H3B2). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 20th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
