She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Smith and Genesta Smith (Rector); her husband Robert "Bob"; her sons-in-law, Randy Dobson, Philip Dunphy and Ron Brown; her siblings, Kenneth "John" Smith and Amber Smith; and her brother-in-law Doug Smith.

She is survived by: her daughters, Amber Brown (Duane Gray) of Springhill, NS, Marlene Moore (Wayne) of Saltsprings, NS, Sherry Dobson (Chris Mont) of Oxford, NS and Holly Cotton (Alton) of Springhill, NS; her grandchildren, Amanda, Tiffany, Kayla, Andrea, Brent, Jeremy, Justin, Kenesha and Lucas; her great grandchildren, Haileigh, Paiten, Jacob, Ella, Bailey, Avery, Nixon, Ellie, Teddy, Emma, Evan, Weston, Harlo, Carter, Graci and Braxton; her siblings, Laverne Merritt (Jim) of Springhill, NS, Vincent (Jackie) of Atwood, ON, Lorell Smith of Atwood, ON, Ted (Phyllis) of Atwood, ON and Sandra Cox (Sandy) of Five Islands, NS; and her sister-in-law Janice Smith of Atwood, ON..
