He was predeceased by: his parents, Percy Laird and Laura Laird (Magee). He is survived by: his wife Betty (Lockhart); his children, Karen (Joe), Kevin (Lasma) and Chris (Jill); and his grandchildren, Jarrod, Kaisha and Ashley. He is also survived by extended family and numerous friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the A. H. Brown Funeral Home (5 McFarlane St, Springhill, NS B0M 1X0). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
