“My deepest sympathy to all of you on the loss of your mother. I met Joyce when I started working as a casual dispatcher in 2012, at the Springhill Police Service. I was a fill in for the school crossing guards when they weren't able to and your mother was one of the crossing guards I met. She was very down to earth, hard working woman, very caring, and always waving and talking to me even after she retired. She will be missed dearly. May you find strength and love at this difficult time.”
