She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Gabriel and Eva Gabriel (Izzard); her husband Irvin Winthrop Ashe; her stepdaughters, Roslyn Ernst (late Ronnie) and Heather Gardener (late Ron); her son-in-law Eric Lockhart; her grandson Jamal Ashe; and her siblings, Ensley, Roland, James, Doug, Cliff, Russell, Sidney, Rachel, Louise and Ida.
She is survived by: her children, Corrine Lockhart, Raymond Ashe (Monique Boudreau), Blaine Ashe, Pictou Landing, Rickey Ashe (Gail), Shelley Ashe, Wendy Ashe (Tim Gallagher) and Dale Ashe (Linda); her grandchild Raven Mullings; her child Truemanville; her sisters, Arvilla Anderson and Hilda Pye; Dorothy Atkinson (Vaughn). She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, many great and several great great grandchildren.
