He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Legere and Margaret Elizabeth Legere (Vienneau); his grandson Kyle; and his siblings, John, Jerry, Glen, Joyce, Judy and Audrey "Lu Lu".

He is survived by: his wife Helen Mae Legere (Fraser); his children, Michelle McKenna (Jamie), Amy Legere (Chris Lewis) and Shawn Legere; his grandchildren, Kelsie (Chanel), Kaitlyn (Michael), Wesley (Jake), Chandler (Hailey), Chloe (Allen) and Landon (Chloe); his great grandchildren, Aubree and Aspen; his stepgrandchildren, Zachery (Lily), Cloë and Emma; his siblings, Irene Varner (Laurie), Bill Legere (Linda), Linda Schneider (Daryl) and Marilyn Whitford (Jim); his in-laws, Harold, Beth, Audrey and Larry; his pets, Joey and Moka; and his brothers, Arlie and Carl. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
