He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Kenneth Sears and Kathleen Sears (Macaloney); his wife Judy of Springhill; his sons, Gordon Sears (Terri), Floyd Sears (Caroline), Springhill Sears and Justin Sears (Nikki Burke); his grandchildren, Chrissy, Mackenzie, Kieran, Justin, Matthew and Kendra; and his siblings, Rosie Cotton (Gordon), Shirley Fillmore (Brian Smith), Debbie Pettigrew (Gerald Baker), Sidney Sears and Glendon "Gump" Sears. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
