She was predeceased by: her parents, William MacDonald and Audrey MacDonald (Matthews); her daughter Marilyn; her granddaughter Christine; and her significant other Wayne Hoeg.

She is survived by: her children, Jessica Cooke (Dave Collins) and Timothy Cooke (Amanda Marks); her daughter-in-law Kate Bird; her grandchildren, Alice, Harrison, Eli, Dylan, Kaliyah, Max, Liam, Isabella, Preston, Dameian and Dayton; her siblings, Edward Matthews, William MacDonald (Jennifer) of Dorchester, NB, Jeannie Nyitrai-Hacz (Peter) and Kelly MacDonald-Tucker (Tim); and her close friend Bev (Brown). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
