She was predeceased by: her parents, John MacDonald and Annie MacDonald (Ross); her husband Les; and her sister Helen Fraser (Jack). She is survived by: her daughter Marilyn Melanson (Richard); her grandchildren, Andy Melanson (Stephanie) of Sackville, NB, Nichole Maddison (T. J.) of Springhill, NS, Michelle Scott (Mark) and Bryce Melanson; her great grandchildren, Emma, Mya, Kaylie, Elim, Ezri, Efram, Equinn, Sara and Hudson; and her sibling's children, Ginger Fraser and John Fraser.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the A. H. Brown Funeral Home (5 McFarlane St, Springhill, NS B0M1X0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 10th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the A. H. Brown Funeral Home (5 McFarlane St, Springhill, NS B0M1X0).
