She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Rector and Rose Rector; and her siblings, Deannie, Herbie, Lynn and Laura.
She is survived by: her sisters, Susan and Wanda; her children, Debbie, Joseph (Trish) and Mark (Sara); her grandchildren, Michael, Jessica, Kayla, Emily and Luke; her great grandchildren, Ben and Emmett; her pet JoJo; and her nephew Tony LeBlanc.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 27th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the A. H. Brown Funeral Home (5 McFarlane St, Springhill, NS B0M 1X0).
